Julianna Pena certainly is going to find herself on Ronda Rousey's radar after Pena made some pretty interesting comments in regards to the former UFC Women's Bantamweight champion.
Speaking to TMZ Sports, Pena reacts to Amanda Nunes, who is the current champion, calling Pena out. Pena was steadfast in saying she deserves a title shot. With that being said, Pena said she understood if Nunes would try and fight Rousey as it is "the money fight." She then proceeded to trash talk Rousey -- and her arms.
"I think she is going to come back before the end of the year, that's what I've been told, what I've heard," Pena said. "I'll believe it when I see it. She's like the emperor in no clothes. She's broken a little bit. No one cares about her and her fat arms anymore."
Pena is undefeated in the UFC and is coming off a big win over Cat Zingano at UFC 200. She is also the #5 women's bantamweight in the official UFC rankings.
Since losing the her UFC title to Holly Holm in November 2015, Rousey has not fought, rarely making public appearances in the fallout to her loss. Rousey has recently returned to the public eye, participating in commercial shoots and the occasional event, while rehabilitating a recent surgery.
Pena first got into the UFC through The Ultimate Fighter reality series when she was a part of Miesha Tate's team which was going up against Rousey's team in 2013. Pena won The Ultimate Fighter 18 finale in November 2013.
