Junior Dos Santos Doesn’t Think Brock Lesnar Passes USADA Tests Upon Return

Former UFC Heavyweight Champion Junior Dos Santos faces former WSOF Heavyweight Champion Blagoy Ivanov this weekend in the main event of UFC Fight Night Boise.

Another former UFC Heavyweight Champion in Brock Lesnar is expected to make his UFC return next year, but JDS doesn’t think Lesnar would get by USADA testing before that return bout.

Conor McGregor Found Guilty In Sexual Assault Case, Says He Will Appeal The Decision

”He was cut by USADA and now he returns like it’s something positive, but it’s not. He adds nothing to the sport. He’s a guy that cheats. The only benefit he brings is that people really like watching him, that big guy. I’ve learned that those who use those types of performance drugs can’t stay without them because they don’t produce testosterone the way they did, they don’t produce HGH they way they should, and many other hormones. To compete at high level, these guys can’t do without it. I don’t know what will be his strategy, but it’s almost certain that he won’t be clean,” Dos Santos said during a recent media scrum in Brazil.

Lesnar has failed a pair of drug tests before during his last run with the UFC, which caused USADA to suspend the WWE Universal Champion for a year.

The former UFC Heavyweight Champion also doesn’t understand why Lesnar may get an immediate title shot upon returning.

”That’s completely unfair, but we know that rankings don’t work in the UFC,” Dos Santos said. “Rankings are based on a weird policy, but it’s not cool to see Brock Lesnar skipping the line especially because he didn’t stop fighting because he chose to, he failed a drug test for something he has always used, you can clearly see it.”

UFC Fight Night Boise takes place on Saturday, July 14 from the Century Link Arena in Boise, Idaho with Junior Dos Santos and Blagoy Ivanov headlining. Fightful is providing live coverage of the event, which airs live on Fox Sports 1.
