Kamaru Usman Set To Star In 'Black Panther: Wakanda Forever'

UFC welterweight champion Kamaru Usman will make his silver screen debut this fall.

On Friday it was revealed that Usman is set to appear in the upcoming "Black Panther: Wakanda Forever" film from Marvel Studios. The movie is a sequel to the MCU's 2018 blockbuster hit "Black Panther" and is scheduled to arrive in theaters on November 11. The specifics of what character Usman is playing are currently unknown, but his involvement in the project was officially confirmed via a tweet from his manager, Ali Abdelaziz, after an initial report from MMA Fighting's Damon Martin. The 35-year-old Auchi, Nigeria native is scheduled to make the sixth defense of his title in a rematch against, Leon Edwards, at UFC 278 on August 20 at the Vivint Arena in Salt Lake City, Utah.
