There has been no reason given by the UFC or the fighters as to why this fight was moved again.

Usman (11-1-0) is currently undefeated in UFC competition, last defeating Sergio Moraes by first round knockout at UFC Fight Night Pittsburgh. Usman also competed in the UFC Ultimate Fighter 21, which saw The Blackzilians team walk away the winners in that season. Usman’s lone professional MMA defeat came over four years ago at Championship Fighting Alliance 11, as Jose Caceres earned a first round submission over him.

Meek (9-2-1-1NC) is also undefeated under the UFC banner, having defeated Jordan Mein by unanimous decision at UFC 206. Meek did defeat one UFC veteran prior to signing with the promotion, with that win coming over Rousimar Palhares at Venator FC 3. Meek has only seen one of his thirteen professional MMA fights go the distance, the aforementioned bout at UFC 206.

UFC Fight Night St. Louis takes place on Sunday, January 14 from the Scottrade Center in St. Louis, Missouri with no main event announced at this time. Fightful is providing live coverage of the event, which airs live on Fox Sports 1.
