During the UFC 272 broadcast the UFC announced that their 2022 Hall of Fame class will be headlined by undefeated former lightweight champion Khabib Nurmagomedov.
Nurmagomedov dominated the UFC's lightweight division during his eight-year, 13-fight UFC career that saw him never lose a fight, and debatably never even lost a round. Nurmagomedov's career highlights include beating Conor McGregor by submission at UFC 229, in the UFC's highest selling PPV of all-time, and submission victories over Dustin Poirier and Justin Gaethje before retiring with an unblemished 30-0 record.
