UFC middleweight champion Israel Adesanya made one comment about Khamzat Chimaev and it could end up costing the champion his title in the long run.
Adesanya was recently asked about Chimaev, with Adesanya saying he “don’t even know the guy” while also referring to Chimaev as “the rat lip.” Those words have apparently angered the undefeated prospect, who issued the following warning to Adesanya though Twitter:
“What do you said about me, it will cost you your belt, if you’re still the champion. Good luck.”
The middleweight champion, before he could focus on the undefeated Chimaev, must first get past Paulo Costa this weekend at UFC 253.
