A question of how far Dustin Poirier is willing to go in order to defeat Conor McGregor led to this awkward exchange between Poirier and the host Theo Von.

Poirier is scheduled to fight McGregor in the main event of UFC 257 in mid-January. His full appearance on This Past Weekend with Theo Von can be seen below.

Fan Posts Explosive Exchange With Tito Ortiz

Former UFC champion and newly inaugurated Huntington Beach councilman Tito Ortiz got into a heated exchange with a fan via Twitter DM.

The exchange when the fan sent a picture of Ortiz's home to him, and the longtime face of the UFC responded by threatening to find out where he lived and worked in response.

Given that standard that's come to be expected by Ortiz this exchange could be a whole lot worse, but the true kicker is the final line instructing Ortiz to "wear a mask when you go to meetings."

Ortiz's short tenure as Huntington Beach councilor, and mayor pro tempore has been fraught with controversy from his peddling of conspiracy theories, as well as repeated run-ins with constituents.

Deiveson Figueiredo Responds To "Fatso" Henry Cejudo

UFC flyweight champion Deiveson Figueiredo has called out former bantam and flyweight champion Henry Cejudo yet again, continuing their ongoing war of words.

“Hey Cejudo, look at me fatso,” said Figueredo (h/t MMA Fighting). “I am going to knock you out. My middle name is ‘Danger.’”

After Figueredo's brief statement, he concluded with a graphic showing himself holding Cejudo's severed head, and text that read, “Cejudo, Once I have knocked out Moreno, I will your ugly pumpkin head off.”

This latest round of trash talk from the flyweight champ is in response to Cejudo's shot at him from earlier in the week.

Regional Highlight Roundup

Today's roundup concludes with a collection of highlights from regional or lower profile MMA cards, that simply must be seen.

Beginning with Open Fighting Championship in Samara Russia on Boxing Day, where we saw a sweet head kick by Fazliddin Obidov, which was followed up by an equally impressive series of back flips off the cage in celebration.

From that same card in Russia, we also saw Aleksandr Maslov score an equally devastating one punch knockout with a wicked over-hand right.

We stay in Russia for the next collection of clips, but shift over the Fight Nights Global card from Christmas Day in Moscow, and an absolutely devastating liver kick from Akop Stepanyan.

Finally, staying in Russia on Christmas Day yet again, but onto Chelyabinsk and New Generation League 2 which saw strawweight Galina Yakupova score a wonderful belly-down armbar from mount.
