Two division Glory kickboxing champion and three fight MMA veteran Alex Pereira has signed a multi-fight deal with the Legacy Fighting Alliance (LFA).
The LFA announced the signing through Twitter. The fighter will make his promotion debut on November 20 facing Thomas Powell in a middleweight division encounter.
Pereira (2-1-0) is the Glory middleweight champion and interim light heavyweight champion, no word has been given yet to Pereira’s status as the double champion now that he has signed with the LFA. Pereira’s best work in kickboxing may come from the fact that he holds two wins over UFC middleweight champion Israel Adesanya. Pereira has two wins as a professional MMA fighter, with those coming over Marcelo Cruz and Marcus Vinicius Fialho Da Silveira. Pereira hasn’t competed in a professional MMA fight in over four years, with his last bout happening at Jungle Fight 87 in May of 2016.
