A welterweight division bout has been added to the upcoming UFC Fight Night Shanghai card as Li Jingliang is going to be in action against Zak Ottow.
MMA DNA first reported the bout.
Jingliang (13-4-0) will enter the fight on the strength of a three bout winning streak, with that last win coming over Frank Camacho at UFC Fight Night Singapore. Jingliang hasn’t suffered a defeat in over two years, with his last loss coming to Keita Nakamura at UFC Fight Night 75. Jingliang is also fighting for the third time in 2017, which is the most active he has been in a single year since his professional MMA debut.
Ottow (15-4-0) has won two of three fights under the UFC banner, defeating both Josh Burkman and Kiichi Kunimoto. Ottow has suffered a total of three losses outside of UFC competition, but two of those losses came to UFC veterans Jacob Volkmann and Mike Rhodes. Ottow has also seen his last four fights go the distance and it has been over a year since one of his bouts ended with a finish.
UFC Fight Night Shanghai takes place on Saturday, November 25 from the Mercedes-Benz Arena in Shanghai, China with Anderson Silva and Kelvin Gastelum headlining. Fightful is providing live coverage of the event, which streams live on UFC Fight Pass.
