A women’s bantamweight division attraction is coming to UFC Fight Night Liverpool as #15 Lina Lansberg is going to be in action against Gina Mazany.
Lansberg (7-3-0) has won just one of three fights during her UFC tenure and that lone win came over Lucie Pudilova at UFC Fight Night 107. Lansberg made her UFC debut at UFC Fight Night 95, suffering a second round TKO loss to UFC Women’s Featherweight Champion Cyborg. Lansberg also competed twice under the Cage Warriors banner, defeating the duo of Emma Delaney and Laura Howarth.
Mazany (5-1-0) is looking to build on the momentum of her first UFC victory, which came over Yanan Wu at UFC Fight Night Shanghai. Mazany also competed on the UFC Ultimate Fighter 18, losing to Juliana Pena by decision in the opening round of the reality show tournament. Mazany has seen just two of her professional MMA bouts go the distance and the fighter walked away victorious in both of those occasions.
UFC Fight Night Liverpool takes place on Sunday, May 27 from the Echo Arena in Liverpool, England with Darren Till and an opponent to be announced headlining. Fightful is providing live coverage of the event, which airs live on Fox Sports 1.
