The CES MMA Featherweight Title is going to be defended at CES MMA 41 as champion Matt Bessette will be defending the gold against Kevin Croom.
Bessette (20-7-0) will be making the first defense of his featherweight championship, which he won by defeating Joe Pingitore at CES MMA 37 in August of 2016. Bessette is also a longtime veteran of Bellator MMA, where he scored his biggest win over UFC veteran Diego Nunes at Bellator 110. Bessette will enter the fight riding a five fight winning streak, which is tied for the longest winning streak of his professional MMA career.
Croom (16-7-0) will be making his CES MMA debut in this fight and he has rotated wins and losses in his last six fights as a pro. Croom also spent some time competing in the Titan Fighting Championships, he has won two of three fights in the promotion. Croom also competed once in Bellator MMA, where he defeated Brian Davidson by submission at Bellator 26.
CES MMA 41 takes place on Friday, January 27 from the Twin River Casino in Lincoln, Rhode Island with Matt Bessette and Kevin Croom headlining, the main card will be airing live on AXS TV.
