Former UFC featherweight champion, Max Holloway, is interested in getting in the squared circle with undefeated three-division world champ, Gervonta "Tank" Davis.
Holloway spoke with journalist Ariel Helwani on his show The MMA Hour on Monday and explained why now could be the perfect time for him to compete in a super fight of sorts in a crossover event with someone like Davis. The 28-year-old Baltimore, Maryland native defeated lightweight star, Ryan Garcia, via a seventh-round KO due to a body shot this past weekend in his latest fight.
“Let’s make a big fight with ‘Tank’ or something,” Holloway said (h/t MMA Mania). “Floyd Mayweather and ‘Tank,’ ‘Tank’ is following Floyd Mayweather’s recipe to the key. So, why not he fight a MMA guy and we do a big one? I can s—t talk to him. Just don’t put no hydration clause in it like how he did to my man Garcia. That would be a fun one."
