Former UFC Lightweight Champion Conor McGregor and pals came under scrutiny last week when they attacked a bus full of UFC stars, allegedly trying to get at UFC Lightweight Champion Khabib Nurmagomedov.
McGregor has turned himself into authorities for the attack and has been released on bail, but has yet to face any kind of punishment from the UFC on the matter.
Michael Bisping is a former UFC middleweight Champion and he wants to see the UFC put a fight together between Nurmagomedov and McGregor, mainly because it will make a ton of money for all involved.
“At the end of the day, is that how you want people to behave? No, but can you turn it into a positive? Of course you f**king can and you can turn it into a s**t-ton of money. That is going to be a MASSIVE pay-per-view. 100 percent. Khabib already has a huge following. Conor, of course, massive following. Them two fight after all that? Forget about it. Well over 1.5 million buys,” said Bisping on Believe You Me.
Nurmagomedov has been open to facing McGregor since the bus attack, saying that the former UFC Lightweight Champion would have to first beg for a title shot.
The Irishman is currently sitting at #1 in the UFC Lightweight Division rankings, which does mean the next potential title opportunity should go to him.
