Michael Chiesa has called for a fight against out-spoken bad boy Colby Covington at UFC Fight Island 8 after disposing of Neil Magny.
Coming off a dominating shutout victory, Chiesa made the most of his opportunity on the microphone by keeping things short and sweet. "The Maverick" also called out Covington last year.

"Election is over, Colby Covington, your schtick is done. I want you next boy," Chiesa loudly proclaimed in his post-fight interview with Daniel Cormier.
Covington has not fought since defeating Tyron Woodley via injury TKO back in September. The controversial Covington's "schtick" has largely been associated with his support of Donald Trump. While a Chiesa matchup seems possible, there has been considerable momentum for a grudge match between Jorge Masvidal and Covington.
The short-notice headliner against Magny marked his first fight in nearly a year, as well as his first four-fight winning streak.
