Mickey Gall Challenges Kevin Lee To A No Rules Fight

Mickey Gall is preparing for his return to the Octagon at UFC 217, where he faces Randy Brown in a welterweight division attraction.

While preparing for Brown, the undefeated prospect is also calling out Kevin Lee for comments the lightweight made earlier this year.

“He was talking sh-t on your show. That f-cking idiot,” Gall said on The MMA Hour. “I’d like to challenge him to a straight fight in the gym. I saw him slide into (Tony) Ferguson’s DMs trying to do that. I’d like him to slide into mine, and I’d like to get a little no-limit fight with him. We’ll call it a spar. Maybe he could get daddy Mayweather to guest sponsor him, we could bet some money. I don’t know. He’s got something on, what, (October) 7th? I’ve got something the next month (November) on the 4th. We could figure that out somewhere.”

Lee is also preparing for a fight himself, because he faces Tony Ferguson for the vacant UFC Interim Lightweight Title at UFC 216.

Gall knows that he wants a no rules fight with Lee, but Gall also knows that they are both at different stages in their career at the moment.

“He’s talking sh-t, man. He’s too comfortable using my name,” Gall said. “I think he’s got talent, but I’d f--k him up. We’re both in different places in our career, but we could fight in the gym anytime. Whatever he wants. No rules. F-ck it, let’s fight.”

UFC 217 takes place on Saturday, November 4 from Madison Square Garden in New York, New York with Michael Bisping and Georges St. Pierre headlining. Fightful is providing live coverage of the event, with a post-show podcast to follow.
