Mickey Gall has only competed three times under the UFC banner, defeating Mike Jackson, former professional wrestler CM Punk (Real Name: Phil Brooks) and Sage Northcutt.
Gall has also become known for calling out hopeful future opponents during his post-fight promos, with his most recent being Dan Hardy, who turned down the fight.
Gall has changed his plans and the call outs are coming from people who want to fight him now, not the other way around.
“I enjoy it,” he said to MMA Junkie. “I like hearing them. This is a good thing when everyone’s calling your name and saying things. I like it. It gives me plenty of people to fight. There’s plenty of people who want to fight me, and that’s good. I hope they keep saying my name – all the idiots, keep saying it. I like it. I really do.”
No matter who will be calling out Gall in the future, he will be happy to answer the challenge.
“I have four fights,” Gall said. “Who else has four fights in the UFC? There’s not really that many people who are comparative. (Northcutt) is 8-1, so that’s close. But it doesn’t matter to me. It’s a fight. I’ll fight someone with 30 fights, 40 fights, whatever. I’d be more than happy to. I’d like to.”
Gall hasn’t competed since UFC On Fox 22 in 2016, where he submitted Sage Northcutt by second round submission.
