Mike Jackson reacts to the criticism of his fight.

Mike Jackson picked up his first victory in the UFC last night at UFC 225 in Chicago where he took on former WWE superstar CM Punk. The last two rounds of the three-round bout saw Mike Jackson dominating Punk but Jackson was critiqued by the commentators on the call and by those watching at home for not putting the fight to bed. There were moments during the fight when Jackson had Punk on the mat while Punk was not defending himself but Jackson continued his slow-paced and methodical style of fighting.

The President of UFC Dana White had a few comments he expressed about Mike Jackson during the post-UFC 225 press conference. White stated that he was not happy with Jackson for coming off as if he did not want to finish the fight when there were a number of opportunities to do so. White even added that in his eyes Mike Jackson lost that fight to CM Punk.

"The Truth" himself then took to social media to explain himself and noted that he does not understand how he was coming off cocky or arrogant. Jackson noted on Twitter that the only reason he did not rush at Punk to finish the fight was because he did not want to get caught with a punch or kick out of no where and that he could not imagine being the guy that lost to CM Punk.
