Mike Perry is eyeing up Khamzat Chimaev after Robbie Lawler allegedly pulled out of UFC 255.
"Platinum" Perry took to Twitter on Wednesday morning. He alleged that Lawler has been removed from their planned scrap at UFC 255 after suffering an undisclosed injury. Perry says he has asked for a fight at middleweight with hot prospect Chimaev.
So @Ruthless_RL pulled out due to an injury. Looking for a replacement I asked for @KChimaev and we can do it at middleweight @ufc @FirstRoundMgmt

The likelihood of Perry vs. Chimaev in November is slim. Chimaev has a pension for taking any fight at any time; however, the unranked fighter is currently scheduled to headline a Fight Night card in December against no. 3 ranked Leon Edwards.
UFC 255 takes place from the UFC Apex in Las Vegas, Nevada on November 21. The pay-per-view card is headlined by two flyweight title fights: Deiveson Figueiredo vs. Alex Perez for the men's title, and Valentina Shevchenko vs. Jennifer Maia for the women's strap.
