Over the last few months, the fighter pay within the UFC has been a hot topic and now, MMA legend Mark Hunt is the latest former fighter to come out and criticise the UFC for their fighter pay — this and much more on Thursday's social media roundup.
Mark Hunt comments on Francis Ngannou's pay at UFC 270
It is no secret that over the last few years, Mark Hunt has been firmly against the UFC for multiple different reasons. Some of those being over fighter pay and also because he has been in a lawsuit with the UFC over his fight against Brock Leanne at UFC 200.
After Francis Ngannou defeated Ciryl Gane at UFC 270 in one of the most impressive performances of his career, it was revealed that Ngannou was only paid $600,000.
This amount, compared to the amounts which certain other champions within the UFC and what top heavyweight boxers earn is minuscule and is way off what Ngannou should actually be earning.
In a recent interview, the former interim UFC heavyweight title challenger revealed that he got paid $900,000 for a fight where he had no title and a title wasn't on the line.
See below to see what Hunt had to say on the issue.

Hunt's comments are very accurate and to be the heavyweight champion of the UFC and to be only getting paid $600,000 isn't right at all, especially with the value Ngannou brings to the UFC.
Do you agree with Hunt's comments? And if so what do you think Ngannou is worth to the UFC?
