Myles Jury made a successful MMA return after being away for more than a year when he defeated Mike De La Torre at UFC 210.
While the fighter is happy to be back inside the Octagon, one thing that he doesn’t like is the MMA media.
“I really don’t like talking to the media,” Jury said to MMA Junkie. “It’s not like I don’t like you guys; it’s just that I don’t really care, man. I really don’t give a (expletive) to sit here and be like, ‘Myles Jury, Myles Jury.'”
With the win at UFC 210, the fighter ended a two fight losing streak that saw him drop fights to Charles Oliveira and Donald Cerrone.
However, when the fighter suffers a defeat, the way the MMA media treats him has turned him into a sourpuss.
“One thing I love about this sport, but one thing I also hate, is you’re only as good as a win or a loss,” Jury said. “So if I lost right now, you guys would be talking to Mikey right now, and my ass would be back, (expletive) crying in the back.”
Jury has competed as both a lightweight and a featherweight in the UFC, the next fight for him has yet to be scheduled.
