Nate Diaz hasn’t been seen in the Octagon since suffering a majority decision loss to UFC Lightweight Champion Conor McGregor in their second meeting at UFC 205.
Although Diaz has teased a return to action a few times now, nothing has ever really come to fruition.
Diaz has now taken to Instagram, where the Stockton native says a return to action could come this coming May or June:
This is the latest in many claims Diaz has made in the last year plus, which includes him saying the UFC brass have offered him a title shot in every weight class.
It has been a few weeks since Diaz last informed the world that he is back in action, but the latest Instagram post is where the fighter puts a time frame for a return in place.
The relationship between the UFC and Diaz hasn’t always been the greatest, with UFC President Dana White stating that Diaz has turned down every fight that was offered to him, which is something the popular fighter has denied.
Even though we are many months away from a potential Diaz return, a few fighters in the form of former UFC Lightweight Champion Eddie Alvarez and Kevin Lee have stated through social media that they would like to fight Diaz upon his return.
