Nick Hein has suffered an undisclosed injury and has been pulled from UFC Fight Night Rotterdam, where he was set to fight Zabit Magomedsharipov in a preliminary card bout.

UFC officials are looking for a replacement opponent to fight Magomedsharipov, but nothing has been announced as of this writing.

If Magomedsharipov does remain on the card, then this fight is going to be his official UFC debut.

Hein was set tomake his featherweight division debut in this fight, but that will obviously have to happen at another time now.

Magomedsharipov (12-1-0) is going to be making his UFC debut in this fight and he does so on the strength of an eight fight winning streak. Magomedsharipov is a longtime veteran of the Absolute Championships Berkut promotion, winning all six fights he competed at within the promotion. Magomedsharipov has only suffered a single defeat as a professional MMA fighter and that came to Igor Egorov by third round submission at Pro FC 47.

UFC Fight Night: Rotterdam takes place on Saturday, September 2 from Ahoy Rotterdam in Rotterdam, Netherlands with Stefan Struve and Alexander Volkov headlining. Fightful is providing live coverage of the event, which streams live on UFC Fight Pass.
