A welterweight division attraction has been announced for UFC Fight Night Copenhagen by the UFC Europe Twitter page as Nicolas Dalby is in action against Alex Oliveira.
Dalby (17-3-1-1NC) is going to be starting a second run with the UFC after posting a 1-2-1 record during the first stint with the promotion. Dalby is a former Cage Warriors Interim Welterweight Champion, defeating Alex Lohore by fourth round TKO to claim the gold at Cage Warriors 103. Dalby has suffered three losses as a professional MMA fighter and all of those defeats came by way of decision.
Oliveira (19-7-1-2NC) enters the contest while in the midst of a two fight losing streak, dropping bouts to the duo of Gunnar Nelson and Mike Perry. Oliveira hasn’t picked up a win in just about a year, with that last victory coming against Carlo Pedersoli Jr. at UFC Fight Night Sao Paulo. Oliveira has picked up nineteen wins as a professional MMA fighter and twelve of them came by way of KO/TKO.
UFC Fight Night Copenhagen takes place on Saturday, September 28 from the Royal Arena in Copenhagen, Denmark with Jack Hermansson and Jared Cannonier headlining. Fightful is providing live coverage of the event, which streams live on ESPN+.
