Nikita Krylov has won two of four in his second run with the UFC and is ranked #10 in the UFC Light Heavyweight Division.

The coronavirus is wreaking havoc across the globe right now, but Krylov doesn’t seem very concerned about it.

“I want to believe that all this is temporary, but this trend [of border closures and restrictions] is happening everywhere, stronger quarantines, from Monday public places have been closed. People are worried,” he said to RT. “Why [should I worry]? The zone of risk is for elderly people and people who have a weak immunity. It’s good impetus to keep yourself in shape, eat well and stay physically active. Apart from that, every day people die in large numbers. A brick could fall on anyone’s head. That’s why I don’t see any point in wrapping yourself up in Scotch [tape] and not touching other people. I don’t do that.”

Even the UFC has been affected by the coronavirus, as the promotion has already postponed three events due to the pandemic.

Nobody is 100% sure yet exactly how the coronavirus came to be, but Krylov believes that the virus is transmitted through the television.

“I’m trying not to think about it. I think to a large extent the coronavirus is transmitted through the TV. People who constantly think about it are at the biggest risk of being infected,” he said.

WorldOMeters reports that 1,093,025 have been affected by the coronavirus worldwide, with 58,728 passing away due to the virus, none of those people have been reported to have passed away due to the coronavirus being transmitted through the TV.
