Top contender, Patchy Mix, is brimming with confidence right now.
Mix spoke with reporters at the Bellator 295 media day on Wednesday in Honolulu, Hawaii ahead of his main event bout on Saturday night in the finals of the Bantamweight World Grand Prix against interim champ, Raufeon Stots, and explained why he fully expects to dominate Stots when the two meet this weekend.
"No man's ever trumped me out there, one man has survived me," Mix said. "Saturday night, I'm gonna dominate him and come to finish him. And we'll see if he survives. If he does survive, I'm going to make sure I dominated every round, so that no judge can score it in the other fashion, in the other favor. This is going to be my coming out party. I'm the most dangerous guy, I'm the finisher here. I have more finishes than him. I have more rounds won than him. I have more fights than him if you look at my amateur career. I'm ready to go out there, and I'm ready to finish him. I'm ready to go out there and finish my business. Saturday night it's me versus him, one verse one, and I'm going to beat up Raufeon Stots."
