It was revealed yesterday by Auburn police that Ibraheem Yazeed was a person of interest in the disappearance of Aniah Blanchard, who is the stepdaughter of UFC fighter Walt Harris.
A report from Wyoming News Now reveals that Yazeed was arrested and booked around 2:30am EST. this morning by the Escambia County Florida Sheriff’s Office, as they assisted US Marshals in capturing Yazeed.
“Further investigation and analysis of evidence has determined that Yazeed was at the same location Blanchard was last seen and is involved in taking Aniah against her will,” a representative said during a news conference.
Yazeed has a plethora of legal issues against him, as the suspect was out of jail and on bond for attempted murder, two counts of first-degree kidnapping and two counts of first-degree robbery.
Blanchard went missing on October 23 and her vehicle was discovered a few days later, with an investigation revealing that Blanchard had been the victim of foul play.
Multiple MMA personalities and other people from the community of Auburn have pledged over $100,000 for any information leading to the safe return of Aniah.
