Thoughts and prayers to his family. RIP to this warrior --
Young made his MMA debut in 2014. Fighting for MCC and Victory FC, he joined Bellator in 2017. On a six-fight win streak, Young would finally lose his perfect record against Julias Angiickas in 2019.
Following a run with Bellaor, Young decided it was time to make a change. He did not enjoy being inactive and joined the Professional Fighters League for its 2021 season. Young lost his debut bout for the promotion against Tom Lawlor in June. The Iowa native rebounded during the PFL Finals in October, beating Omari Arkmedov via third-round TKO. Young was set to be a part of the PFL's 2022 season.
