UFC veteran Philip De Fries has signed a multi-fight contract with the KSW MMA promotion out of Poland and he enters the company with a record of 14-6-0-1NC.

De Fries claims the promotion is signing a fighter who is in the best shape of his career, both mentally and physically.

“I’m very excited to be signing with KSW and to show the fans what I’m capable of,” said De Fries to MMA Fighting. “I’m feeling the best I have ever felt in my career both physically and mentally. I am very grateful to KSW for the opportunity to fight for them on the largest stage in Europe. We’re in talks now about my debut.”

The competitor won two of five fights under the UFC banner, with those two wins coming over the duo of Oli Thompson and Rob Broughton. One of the three losses De Fries suffered in UFC competition came to current UFC Heavyweight Champion Stipe Miocic. De Fries was last seen competing at Bellator 191, defeating James Thompson by first round submission with a guillotine choke.

A newly signed De Fries has yet to announce whom he will fight in a promotional debut or exactly what event that debut could happen at.
