Donny Aaron has been on the run since police were called on him for alleged domestic violence against his wife, UFC veteran Andrea Lee.
Police have been actively searching for Aaron, whom they believe may be hiding out in an MMA gym, although no specific gym has been mentioned.
“I don’t know if people understand there are consequences to that,” Shreveport, Louisiana police spokesperson Angie Willhite said to MMA Junkie. “If they’re intentionally harboring this man, that’s against the law. You can’t do that, and I would certainly hope that wouldn’t be the case.”
Aaron was initially believed to have fled to the state of Georgia with his father, but those reports were unable to be proven at this time. An arrest warrant was issued for Aaron about three weeks ago by the Shreveport, Louisiana police department.
The police know that they are going to find Aaron, as its just a matter of time before that actually happens.
“You can’t run from this forever,” Willhite said. “We’re going to find him eventually.”
Lee, on the other hand, has decided to return to the Octagon at UFC On Fox 31 this December, where she will take on Jessica-Rose Clark in a women’s flyweight division attraction.
