Priscila Cachoeira was supposed to battle Ariane Lipski at UFC Fight Night Sao Paulo, but a USADA violation has caused her removal from the card.

MMA Fighting first reported the news, while saying that Cachoeira had tested positive for a diuretic. Veronica Macedo, who was set to fight Amanda Lemos at UFC Fight Night Washington DC, will step in on short notice to face Lipski at UFC Fight Night Sao Paulo.

Lipski (11-5-0) is winless thus far under the UFC banner, dropping bouts to the duo of Joanne Calderwood and Molly McCann. Lipski is a former KSW MMA Women’s Flyweight Champion, defeating Silvana Gomez Juarez at KSW 42 to claim the gold. Lipski hasn’t picked up a victory in over a year, with that win at KSW 42 coming in March of 2018.

Macedo (6-3-1) has won just one of four under the UFC banner, with that lone win coming over Polyana Viana at UFC Fight Night Uruguay. Macedo has suffered three losses as a professional MMA fighter, with one loss by KO/TKO, one by submission and the other by way of decision. Macedo also went undefeated as an amateur MMA fighter, with those victories coming over Chrissy Audin and Angela Danzig.

UFC Fight Night Sao Paulo takes place on Saturday, November 16 from the Ibirapueroa Gymnasium in Sao Paulo, Brazil with Jan Blachowicz and Ronaldo Souza headlining. Fightful is providing live coverage of the event, which streams live on ESPN+.
