It has barely been a day since “The Money Fight” and UFC Lightweight Champion Conor McGregor is already being called out by his MMA contemporaries.
This call out comes in the form of former UFC Lightweight Champion Rafaeal Dos Anjos, who describes the lightweight champion as “Conor McChicken.”
Dos Anjos called out the UFC Lightweight Champion through a Facebook post:
McGregor and Dos Anjos were supposed to meet in a champion versus champion bout at UFC 196, but Dos Anjos pulled out of the fight due to an injury.
It may be a little while before the two fight though because Dos Anjos is making his second appearance at welterweight when he faces Neil Magny at UFC 215.
No matter who McGregor fights in his return to the UFC, it is going to be the first time he has competed since winning the UFC Lightweight Title at UFC 205.
