Rafael Dos Anjos Stops Kevin Lee, Several Other Top 15 Fights At UFC Rochester

Long overdue, but former UFC Lightweight Title challenger Kevin Lee made his move to welterweight at UFC Rochester Saturday night, taking on a former champion in Rafael Dos Anjos.

Despite the move, Lee's outstanding gas tank issues still remain. After starting strong, Lee seemed to struggle in the middle rounds, which didn't seem to bode well for the championship rounds. Though he showed great glimpses of offense, it became clear that Lee's issues have a lot more behind them than a weight division.

Ultimately those gas tank issues gave way, and Rafael Dos Anjos ended up putting away Lee with an arm triangle submission in the fourth round. The 34-year old RDA stopped a two-fight skid in the process.

Elsewhere on the show, #15 Charles Oliveira put Nik Lentz out with a fantastic knockout finish, and #6 Aspen Ladd took home a big re-match victory over TUF finalist Sijara Eubanks via unanimous decision. #15 Vicente Luque took out late replacement Derrick Krantz. Meanwhile, Ian Heinisch may have landed himself closer to the top 15 by taking a unanimous decision win over #12 Antonio Carlos Junior.
