Bellator will be making its return to Hawaii, as Bellator 294 and 295 are set to take place at the Neal S. Blaisdell Center in Honolulu on April 21 and 22.
KHON2 News' Christian Shimabuku was the first to report the news of the promotion's return to Hawaii this spring, with the company themselves confirming both events via a tweet on Wednesday. Bellator 294 on April 21 will be headlined by a rematch between flyweight champion, Liz Carmouche, and DeAnna Bennett. The pair's first meeting went down back at Bellator 246 in September 2020 with Carmouche taking the win via a third-round submission.
Bellator 295 on April 22 meanwhile will feature the finals of the Bellator Bantamweight World Grand Prix Tournament when interim bantamweight champ, Raufeon Stots, takes on Patchy Mix. Stots is currently riding an 11-fight winning streak dating back to December 2017 and is coming off a split-decision win over, Danny Sabatello, at Bellator 289 this past December. Mix on the other hand is 4-0 in his last four bouts and will look to build on a second-round submission victory over, Magomed Magomedov, also at Bellator 289 last December.
