A bantamweight division attraction has been added to UFC 235 according to Farah Hannoun as #12 Alejandro Perez is going to be in action against Yadong Song.
Perez (21-6-1) will enter the contest on a four fight winning streak, having beaten the four pack of Andre Soukhamthath, Iuri Alcantara, Matthew Lopez and Eddie Wineland. Perez hasn’t suffered a defeat in over three years, with that last loss coming against Patrick Williams at UFC 188. Perez has suffered six losses as a professional MMA fighter and half of them have come by way of submission.
Song (13-3-0-2NC) is undefeated thus far under the UFC banner, defeating the trio of Bharat Khandare, Felipe Arantes and Vince Morales. Song hasn’t been defeated in over two years and that last loss came to Renat Ondar at WLF-EPIC: Elevation Power In The Cage 9 in October of 2016. Song has seen eight of his professional MMA bouts go the distance and the fighter has won six of those encounters.
