Report: Alex Morono Faces Kenan Song At UFC Fight Night Beijing

A welterweight division encounter has been added to UFC Fight Night Beijing according to Morono himself as Alex Morono is going to be in action against Kenan Song.

Morono (14-5-0-1NC) has won just one of his last four bouts under the UFC banner, with that lone win coming over Josh Burkman at UFC Fight Night Austin. Morono has seen four of his six bouts in the UFC go the distance and he won just two of those four encounters. Morono has picked up six of his fourteen professional MMA victories bu submission, but the fighter has yet to be defeated via that method.

Song (13-3-0) is currently undefeated in UFC competition, having defeated the duo of Bobby Nash and Hector Aldana. Song has previously challenged for the Chinese Kung Fu Championships Welterweight Title, losing to Yincang Bao by unanimous decision in March of 2015. Song has suffered a defeat in almost two years, with that last loss coming to Elnur Agaev in November of 2016.

UFC Fight Night Beijing takes place on Saturday, November 24 from the Cadillac Arena in Beijing, China with Curtis Blaydes and Francis Ngannou headlining. Fightful is providing live coverage of the event, which streams live on UFC Fight Pass.
