A light heavyweight division attraction has been added to UFC Fight Night Minneapolis according to Farah Hannoun as Alonzo Menifield is in action against Paul Craig.
Menifield (8-0-0) has competed just once before under the UFC banner, defeating Vinicius Moreira by first round TKO at UFC Fight Night Brooklyn. Menifield also competed on Dana White’s Tuesday Night Contender Series Episode 9, defeating Dashawn Boatwright by first round TKO. Menifield has competed eight times as a professional MMA fighter and none of those bouts went the distance.
Craig (11-3-0) has won just two of his last five in the UFC, with those wins coming over the duo of Magomed Ankalaev and Kennedy Nzechukwu. Craig has picked up a total of eleven wins as a professional MMA fighter and ten of those victories have come by way of submission. Craig has also competed a grand total of fourteen times as a professional MMA fighter and none of his bouts have gone to the judges scorecards.
UFC Fight Night Minneapolis takes place on Saturday, June 29 from the Target Center in Minneapolis, Minnesota with Tyron Woodley and Robbie Lawler headlining. Fightful is providing live coverage of the event, which streams live on ESPN+.
