A women’s flyweight division encounter is the latest addition to the Bellator 200 card according to MMA Junkie as Anastasia Yankova faces Kate Jackson.
Yankova (5-0-0) has already earned three wins under the Bellator MMA banner, defeating the trio of Anjela Pink, Veta Arteaga and Elina Kallionidou. Yankova did earn her first two professional MMA wins by submission, but has now gone the distance in the last three fights. Yankova also returns to action for the first time in over a year, as her last bout at Bellator 176 took place in April of 2017.
Jackson (9-3-1) is looking to rebound from her first Bellator MMA defeat, which came to UFC veteran Valerie Letourneau at Bellator 191. Jackson also competed on the UFC Ultimate Fighter 23, making it to the semi-finals before losing to Tatiana Suarez. Jackson has suffered a total of three losses as a professional MMA fighter, but none of them have come by way of submission.
Bellator 200 takes place on Friday, May 25 from the SSE Arena in London, England with Rafael Carvalho and Gegard Mousasi headlining. Fightful is providing live coverage of the event, which airs via tape delay on the Paramount Network.
