A women’s bantamweight division attraction has been added to a June 27 UFC card as #3 Aspen Ladd faces #9 Sara McMann.
MMA Junkie first reported the bout, who’s spot on the card isn’t known at this time.
Ladd (9-1-0) has won four of five in the UFC, with those wins coming over Sijara Eubanks, Lina Lansberg, Tonya Evinger and Yana Kunitskaya. Ladd has suffered a single defeat as a professional MMA fighter and that came against Germaine De Randamie at UFC Fight Night Sacramento. Ladd has picked up nine wins as a professional MMA fighter and six of them came by way of KO/TKO.
McMann (12-5-0) has won just one of her last three bouts, with that lone win coming over Lina Lansberg at UFC Fight Night Raleigh. McMann has previously challenged for the UFC Women’s Bantamweight Championship, losing to then champion Ronda Rousey at UFC 170. McMann has suffered five losses as a professional MMA fighter, with three of them coming to those who have held the UFC Women’s Bantamweight Title.
The yet to be announced UFC card takes place on Saturday, June 27 from a location to be announced at with a main event to be announced. Fightful is providing live coverage of the event, while broadcast plans have yet to be announced.
