A new threat is going to be making his way to the Bellator MMA Bantamweight Division as the promotion has reportedly signed Erik Perez to a deal.
Ali Abdelaziz, who is Perez’s agent, took to Twitter to announce the signing:

There is no word at this time as to the length of the contract signed by Perez or any financial numbers associated with the deal.
Perez (19-6-0) is coming off of a two fight stint in Combate Americas, where he defeated the duo of DJ Fuentes and Andres Ayala. Perez also had an extensive run competing in the UFC, picking up notable victories over Edwin Figueroa, Francisco Rivera and Felipe Arantes. Perez is going to be entering Bellator MMA while riding a five fight winning streak and he hasn’t suffered a defeat in over five years.
It is unknown at this time as to when Perez is going to be making his promotional debut, but the fighter will enter a division currently ruled by Kyoji Horiguchi.
