Two more fighters have been added to the Bellator MMA roster according to MMA Fighting as the promotion has inked Peter Queally and Leah McCourt to deals. This is the latest move by the promotion to bolster its European fighter roster, as Bellator MMA has signed a plethora of competitors from the continent in recent weeks.
Queally (11-4-1) has won just one of his last three bouts heading into Bellator MMA, with that lone win coming over David Khachatryan at Fight Nights Global 87. Queally has previously challenged for the FNG Welterweight Title, fighting Kuat Khamitov to a draw at FNG 80. Queally has competed a total of fifteen times as a professional MMA fighter and fourteen of those bouts went the distance.
McCourt (1-1-0) has spent her entire professional MMA career until this point in Cage Warriors, defeating Manon Fiorot and suffering a defeat to Rizlen Zouak. McCourt won six of seven bouts during her amateur MMA career, with the majority of the wins coming in the IMMAF promotion. McCourt will compete as a featherweight in Bellator MMA, which is a division currently ruled by Julia Budd.
There is no word yet on when any of these newly signed fighters will make their Bellator MMA debuts, but that announcement could be coming anytime now.
