Two more fighters have apparently been added to the Bellator MMA roster as MMA Fighting reports that Will Fleury has been signed, while MMA NYTT reports that Mike Shipman is heading to the organization as well.
Fleury (3-0-0) has yet to have any of his professional MMA fights make it past the second round, winning two of his three fights by KO/TKO. Fleury made his professional MMA debut in December of 2016, defeating Bellator MMA veteran John Redmond by first round submission. Fleury also competed three times as an amateur MMA fighter, with two of those bouts coming in the Battlezone Fighting Championships.
Shipman (11-1-0) signs with the promotion while on an eleven fight winning streak and he hasn’t suffered a loss in almost five years. Shipman is also the current BAMMA Middleweight Champion, defeating Yannick Bahati to win the gold at BAMMA 31. Shipman has also competed twice in Bellator MMA before being signed, last defeating Marcin Prostko by first round TKO at Bellator 179.
There is no word yet on when Fleury is expected to make his promotional debut, but Shipman is expected to compete on the Bellator 200 card against an opponent to be named.
