A lightweight division bout has been added to the UFC 225 card according to Walter Salcido of Fan Sided as Bobby Green faces Clay Guida.

Green (24-8-1) has won just one of his last five bouts under the UFC banner, with that lone victory coming over Erik Koch at UFC On Fox 27. Green has also seen his last three fights go the distance and it has been almost two years since one of his contests ended with some form of finish. Green is also a former King Of The Cage Lightweight Champion, defeating Dom O’Grady in 2011 to win the gold.

Eight Biggest Upsets in MMA in the Last Year

Guida (34-17-0) enters the bout on the strength of a two fight winning streak, defeating the duo of Erik Koch and Joe Lauzon. Guida had also spent some time competing in the UFC Featherweight Division, earning a record of 3-4-0 in that weight class. Guida has spent over eleven years competing in the UFC and is one of the longest tenured fighters currently on the promotions roster.

UFC 225 takes place on Saturday, June 9 from the United Center in Chicago, Illinois with Robert Whittaker and Yoel Romero headlining. Fightful is providing live coverage of the event, with a post-show podcast to follow.
