A lightweight division attraction has been added to UFC 243 according to Cageside Press as Brad Riddell is going to be in action against Jamie Mullarkey.
Riddell (6-1-0) is going to be making his UFC debut in this bout and does so on the strength of a three fight winning streak. Riddell has suffered a single defeat as a professional MMA fighter and that came against Abel Brites at Hex Fight Series 15 in July of 2018. Riddell has competed seven times as a professional MMA fighter and just one of those encounters went the distance.
Mullarkey (8-2-0) is also going to be making his UFC debut in this bout and does so while riding a two fight losing streak. Mullarkey is also going to be returning to action for the first time in over three years, with his last bout happening in August of 2016. Mullarkey has picked up eight wins as a professional MMA fighter and half of them came by way of KO/TKO.
UFC 243 takes place on Saturday, October 5 from the Marvel Stadium in Melbourne, Australia with Robert Whittaker and Israel Adesanya headlining. Fightful is providing live coverage of the event, with a post-show podcast to follow.
