Report: Brad Tavares Facing Krzysztof Jotko At UFC On Fox 29

A battle of top 15 middleweights could be coming to UFC On Fox 29 according to Low Kings MMA as #11 Brad Tavares may be facing off with #12 Krzysztof Jotko.

Tavares (16-4-0) enters the contest while riding a three fight winning streak, last defeating Thales Leites by unanimous decision at UFC 216. Tavares hasn’t suffered a defeat in almost three years, with that last loss coming to UFC Middleweight Champion Robert Whittaker at UFC Fight Night 65. Tavares has earned more than half of his professional MMA victories by decision and the competitors last three UFC bouts have also gone the distance.

Jotko (19-3-0) comes into the bout in the midst of a two fight losing streak, dropping bouts to the duo of David Branch and Uriah Hall. Jotko hasn’t earned a victory since UFC Fight Night 100 in November 2016, where he defeated Thales Leites by unanimous decision. Jotko is also competing on his first “UFC On Fox” card and he has been with the promotion for four-plus years.

UFC On Fox 29 takes place on Saturday, April 21 from the Gila River Arena in Glendale, Arizona with Dustin Poirier and Justin Gaethje headlining. Fightful is providing live coverage of the event, which airs live on Fox.
