A featherweight firefight between Brian Ortega and "The Korean Zombie" Chan Sung Jung will reportedly headline the UFC card on October 17.
BJPenn.com confirmed the booking following an initial report from @CCLegaspi on Twitter.
The all-action fight was originally scheduled for the promotion's December card in Busan. Ortega was forced to withdraw due to an injury and was replaced by Frankie Edgar. "Korean Zombie" put on a vicious display and earned a first-round TKO over "The Answer".
This fight will be the first for Ortega since snapping his undefeated streak in a one-sided featherweight title fight against Max Holloway in December 2018. Jung is currently on a two-fight winning streak after losing to Yair Rodriguez at 4:59 of round five in a fight he was winning.
Ortega (14-1) and Jung (16-5) are known to be rather friendly fighters; however, a rivalry between the two turned ugly when Ortega reportedly slapped Jung's friend, Jay Park, causing a skirmish.
No location or venue has been confirmed for the UFC Fight Night event on October 17. Three bouts have thus far been reported for card: Gillian Robertson vs. Poliana Botelho, Krzysztof Jotko vs. Makhmud Muradov, and Jimmy Crute vs. Modestas Bukauskas.
