A middleweight division attraction has been added to UFC Fight Night Moscow according to Ariel Helwani of ESPN as CB Dollaway is in action against Omari Akhmedov.
Dollaway (17-8-0) enters the contest on the strength of a two fight winning streak, with those wins coming over Ed Herman and Hector Lombard. Dollaway is competing on a “Fight Night” card for the first time in over three years, holding a record of 4-1-0 at such events. Dollaway competed on the UFC Ultimate Fighter 7, making it to the finals before losing to Amir Sadollah.
Akhmedov (17-4-1) has won two of his last three in UFC competition, with those wins coming over the duo of Kyle Noke and Abdul Razak Alhassan. Akhmedov has seen his last three bouts go the distance and it has been over two years since the fighter earned a finish. Akhmedov has suffered a total of four losses as a professional MMA fighter, but he has yet to lose by way of submission.
