A featherweight division attraction has been added to UFC Fight Night Denver according to Marcel Dorff of MMA DNA as Chas Skelly steps into the Octagon against Bobby Moffett.
Skelly (17-3-0) has won two of his last three under the UFC banner, with those wins coming over the duo of Maximo Blanco and Chris Gruetzemacher. Skelly is also returning to action for the first time in well over a year, with his last bout taking place at UFC 211 in May of 2017. Skelly has picked up a total of seventeen wins as a professional MMA fighter and ten of them have come by way of submission.
Moffett (13-3-0) is going to be making his UFC debut in this fight and does so on the strength of a three bout winning streak. Moffett also competed on Dana White’s Tuesday Night Contender Series Episode 16, defeating Jacob Kilburn by second round submission. Moffett has previously challenged for the RFA Featherweight Title, losing to then champion Raoni Barcelos by unanimous decision at RFA 39.
