Report: Chris De La Rocha Replacing Allen Crowder At UFC 225

Allen Crowder has suffered an injury and has been pulled from the upcoming UFC 225 card according to Marcel Dorff of MMA DNA, replacing him against Rashad Coulter is going to be Chris De La Rocha.

Coulter (8-3-0) is currently winless in UFC competition, dropping bouts to the duo of Chase Sherman and Tai Tuivasa. Coulter has yet to see any of his professional MMA fights go the distance and only one of them made it into the third round. Coulter also competed in Bellator MMA, defeating Jeremiah O’Neal by first round TKO at Bellator 135 in March of 2015.

De La Rocha (4-2-0) is also winless thus far during his UFC journey, having dropped bouts to the duo of Daniel Omielanczuk and Adam Milstead. De La Rocha also returns to action for the first time in over two years, with his last bout happening at UFC Fight Night 88 in May of 2016. De La Rocha has yet to have any of his professional MMA fights go the distance and only two of them made it out of the opening round.

UFC 225 takes place on Saturday, June 9 from the United Center in Chicago, Illinois with Robert Whittaker and Yoel Romero headlining. Fightful is providing live coverage of the event, with a post-show podcast to follow.
