A welterweight division attraction is the latest addition to UFC Fight Night Liverpool according to MMA Junkie as Claudio Henrique Da Silva faces Nordine Taleb.
Da Silva (11-1-0) is currently undefeated thus far under the UFC banner, having defeated the duo of Brad Scott and Leon Edwards. Da Silva also competes for the first time in over three years, as his last bout at UFC Fight Night 56 took place on November of 2014. Da Silva also competed in the Elite Fighting Championships, winning all five fights that he fought within the promotion.
Taleb (14-4-0) enters the contest on the strength of a two fight winning streak, last defeating Danny Roberts by first round knockout at UFC On Fox 26. Taleb also competed on the UFC Ultimate Fighter 19, losing in the opening round of the reality show to Mike King by unanimous decision. Taleb also competed in Bellator MMA, where he earned victories over the duo of Matt Secor and Matt MacGrath.
UFC Fight Night Liverpool takes place on Sunday, May 27 from the Echo Arena in Liverpool, England with Stephen Thompson and Darren Till headlining. Fightful is providing live coverage of the event, which airs live on Fox Sports 1.
