A light heavyweight division attraction has been added to UFC 244 according to Brett Okamoto of ESPN as #8 Corey Anderson is going to be in action against #12 Johnny Walker.
Anderson (12-4-0) enters the contest while in the midst of a three fight winning streak, defeating the trio of Patrick Cummins, Glover Teixeira and Ilir Latifi. Anderson has seen his last three bouts go the distance and it has been over two years since the fighter got a finish. Anderson has suffered four losses as a professional MMA fighter and all of those defeats came in the UFC.
Walker (17-3-0) is undefeated thus far under the UFC banner, having defeated Khalil Rountree, Justin Ledet and Misha Cirkunov. Walker also competed on Dana White’s Contender Series Brazil Episode 2, defeating Henrique Da Silva by unanimous decision. Walker has competed a total of twenty times as a professional MMA fighter and just one of those bouts went the distance.
